Fairbanks' Premier Middle Eastern Dance Troupe entertains & educates audiences with Middle Eastern music and dance. Their diverse dance repertoire includes contemporary and fusion styles of belly dance and traditional dances from the Middle East, North East & North Africa

Hafla: A hafla thrown by a belly dancer usually involves Middle Eastern music (sometimes live musicians jamming, sometimes just taped music), dancers taking turns performing for each other, and some open-floor dancing for everyone to get up and enjoy the music.
Friday, March 30th, 7-9pm at Pioneer Park's Square Dance Hall
Bring a dish to share, a drum, finger cymbals or other percussive instrument.
Between performance sets we will have a 15 minute drum circle.
